It stands on the border of Karl\u00edn and Nov\u00e9 M\u011bsto, right next to the Negrelli Viaduct, which gave the hotel its name.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-1eb9757 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" building served as a <b>coaching inn<\/b> for travellers and their horses.<\/p><p>After the war it was converted into rental flats, and the courtyard housed a car repair class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>A new beginning<\/h5><p>We <b>bought<\/b> the house in 2015 and started the project, followed by a full renovation. We <b>opened the hotel in January 2023<\/b>. The building was not in good shape before the renovation, yet we wanted to keep everything that had a story to tell.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section staircase<\/b> and the shared interior spaces of the house<\/li><li>the <b>plaster sculptures<\/b> in the passage<\/li><li>the original <b>horse troughs and feeders<\/b> in the courtyard <b>Negrelli Viaduct<\/b> next door. It was built in 1846\u20131849, and trains have crossed it since 1 June 1850. After Charles Bridge it is the <b>second-oldest bridge still standing over the Vltava<\/b> in Prague, and until 1910 it was the longest bridge in Europe. It was extensively reconstructed in 2017\u20132020.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-b767c76\" data-id=\"b767c76\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a28b5b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a28b5b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>Karl\u00edn<\/h5><p>Karl\u00edn was founded in 1817 as <b>Prague\u2019s first suburb<\/b>, \u201cbehind the Po\u0159\u00ed\u010dsk\u00e1 Gate\u201d. Our street still carries the name of the gate. The 2002 flood submerged almost all of Karl\u00edn, but the district was rebuilt and is now one of the liveliest in
